How deep can the BOM go?
As deep as your product: sub-assemblies nest to any level with their own routings, revisions and costs. Explode shows the full tree; the cost roll-up carries material, labour and overhead from every level into the unit standard cost.
What does the Bottleneck Detector actually watch?
Downtime logged on job cards by reason code, per workstation. On its schedule it flags any station above 15% downtime, names the top causes and the work orders at risk, and suggests re-sequencing or maintenance - you decide.
Does it handle subcontracting?
Yes - send material out on a subcontract PO with a delivery challan, receive it back with a job-work receipt, add the job-work cost to the work order, and track rejections against the vendor.
How does quality inspection work?
Define checks per item or operation, sample each lot, record pass/fail per check, and release or rework. Inspection results stay on the work order and the finished-goods batch.
How does it connect to stock, purchasing and accounts?
